Nifur Hotel is located in Cotonou, Benin’s largest city, where the project set out to create a hotel with a character of its own. The developer wanted more than equipment: a partner whose quality, service and integrity would match the standard the hotel intended to set.

2 · Comfort that guests notice, safety they never think about.
Hotel traffic rises and falls with arrivals, events and check-out windows. Elevators must answer quickly at peak times, remain quiet through the night and keep working without drama for the rest of the day.

Smooth acceleration, precise levelling and low operating noise keep journeys short and unobtrusive, so the elevator supports the calm atmosphere the hotel is trying to create rather than interrupting it.

Every GOTS elevator is engineered to international safety standards and validated through rigorous factory testing. Door systems, levelling accuracy and emergency operation are designed so that the safest behaviour is also the default behaviour, with no special procedure required from guests or hotel staff.
3 · The GOTS solution.
GOTS supplied passenger elevators for Nifur Hotel, configured around the building’s traffic profile and interior design. The specification focused on three priorities:
- Smooth, low-noise operation on every guest floor;
- Precise levelling and responsive door control;
- Energy-efficient operation that suits a hospitality budget.
Because the units share consistent controls, hotel staff need only one set of operating procedures, and maintenance access follows the same logic across the installation.
